Prithvi Narayan Shah unifies Nepal

Prithvi Narayan Shah completed the conquest of the Kathmandu valley in 1768. His successors set out to build a Gorkha empire from Nepal to Kashmir, which brought them across Kumaon and Garhwal to the Sutlej.
