Indo-Greek coins reach the hills

After the Shungas lost their grip the hill republics asserted independence and issued their own coins. Twenty-one coins of Apollodotus were found at Tappa Mewa (Hamirpur), and thirty-one at Jwalamukhi, evidence of Indo-Greek trade along the Beas.
