The Kunihar agreement

The Kunihar Praja Mandal forced Rana Hardev Singh to accept its conditions in a written agreement on 9 July 1939, a week before the Dhami firing. An earlier agitation of 1920 under Gauri Shankar and Baba Kanshi Ram had prepared the ground.
