Kuninda coins of Amoghabhuti
The Kunindas (Kulindas) lived between the Beas, Sutlej and Yamuna — the Shimla and Sirmaur hills. Their name is usually derived from the Kalindi (Yamuna). The Kanets are taken as their modern descendants.
Their silver coins carry the name Amoghabhuti; copper coins used Brahmi for local circulation and Prakrit in Kharoshthi for trade beyond the hills.
