Parvataka allies with Chandragupta Maurya

Parvataka (identified by some with Porus's kinsman Parvateshwar), whose territory lay between the Ravi and the Yamuna, allied with Chandragupta Maurya and Chanakya. The hills passed under loose Mauryan suzerainty.
