Guru Gobind Singh at Paonta Sahib

Guru Gobind Singh came to Sirmaur at the invitation of Raja Medini Prakash and founded Paonta Sahib on the Yamuna, where he stayed for about four years. Much of the Dasam Granth is associated with this period, and his court of fifty-two poets sat here.
