The Simla Agreement

Signed at Shimla on 2 July 1972 between Indira Gandhi and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the agreement converted the 1971 ceasefire line into the Line of Control and committed both states to settling differences bilaterally. It is a national-affairs fact with a Himachal address.
