Nako Lake

Nako Lake lies in the Hangrang valley of Kinnaur, beside Nako village and its monastery — one of the Rinchen Zangpo foundations in the state's Buddhist heritage, alongside Tabo.

It is the one lake in this roster that sits in the cold-desert tract of upper Kinnaur, close to the Spiti border.
