Pandit Padam Dev

One of the central organisers of the hill freedom movement. Secretary of the Himalayan Riyasati Praja Mandal and then of the Himalayan Hill States Regional Council formed at Mandi in 1946.

He led the Suket Satyagraha from Tattapani on 18 February 1948, the last movement against a hill ruler, which completed the integration of the states. He later served as a minister in Parmar's government.
