Gepang Goh, 5,870 m, is regarded in Lahaul as the guardian deity peak of the valley, with Gepang Gath lake lying below it.
It stands among the district's cluster of glaciated peaks — Shigri Parbat, Mulkila and Dharmsura — that give Lahaul its share of six-thousanders in this roster.
