Peak
Shigri Parbat
Shigri Parbat, 6,526 m, stands in the Great Himalayan range in Lahaul, rising directly above the Bara Shigri glacier — the largest glacier in Himachal Pradesh, whose melt the Chandra collects on its way down the Lahaul valley.
It is one of two Great Himalayan range peaks in this roster, alongside Kinner Kailash across in Kinnaur; the rest of the twelve belong to the Zanskar, Pir Panjal or Dhauladhar instead.
