Parang La

Parang La, 5,578 m, is the highest pass in the standard list for this exam — higher than Pin Parvati, Kugti, or any of the Dhauladhar crossings. It links Spiti to Ladakh, descending on the far side towards Tso Moriri.

It carries no named range in the standard roster, so height and the Spiti–Ladakh link are what identify it in a question.
